RENT A CAR IN CROATIA - general conditions
The rental car may only be driven by authorized drivers:

  • Minimum age 23 years old for categories A,A1,B1,C,D,G,G2, G3, K1 and 25 years old for categories E,G1,K,S.
  • A valid driving license, Greek, European Community or International, held for at least one year, is required.
  • Authorized drivers shall be the signatory to the Rental Agreement and those persons listed in the Rental Agreement as authorized drivers. Authorized drivers are not allowed to drive the rental vehicle when under influence of alcohol, medicaments or drugs, nor in any other conditions which might adversely affect their reactions (e.g. over tiredness and illness)

ARRIVAL BY THE SEA

For all the boats and their crew members that are coming to Mandalina Marina for the first time, the main direction is to get through the St. Ante channel.

Hereafter you can find few advices to pay attention to due to your arrival:

1. Arrival from direction South

If you are arriving from the South, the average sea way is between south point of island Zlarin and island Drvenik, than proceed to North- North West direction toward the entrance to St. Ante channel. Maximum speed alowed through the channel is 10 knots and one should sail next to the right side od the channel. While entering the bay of Šibenik after crossing St.Ante Channel in order to get to Mandalina Marina you should turn to 90 degrees East direction and proceed approximately 0,7 Nm.

2. Arrival from direction South West (islands Žirje, Kaprije, Zmajan)

If you are arriving from SW direction, it is recomended to get to the channel by passing between islands Zlarin and Lupac.

3. Arrival from direction West by the coastal sea (Tribunj, Vodice)

If you are arriving from the West, you should pass through the middle part of the channel between the island of Prvić and the mainland, untill you get to the light house Jadrija at the entrance to St. Ante's channel.

IMPORTANT:

Within the area of up to 300 m from the shore it is strictly prohibited to access the speed limit of 6 knots.

For all the boats of 50 GT and more it is mandatory to contact Jadrija signal station via VHF channel 71 and wait for the approval for the safe passage through the channel St. Ante.

Jadrija signal station regulates the sea traffic with the light signal (red and green light) on entrance and exit of the channel. Speed limit within the bay of Šibenik is 5 knots.
